2021 NBA Mock Draft First Round

 2021 NBA Mock Draft

2021 NBA Mock Draft: Post-lottery edition with shocks

So with the 2021 NBA Draft on the horizon it's time for the Beef's Beef NBA first round mock draft. Same as in the past I traded picks but this year I did it with my cousin Jerry Lee. Here is a little something before our picks though, let us know what you think!

Beef-

Most Overrated Prospect- Jalen Johnson (Duke) ESPN has Johnson rated 12th overall and he Is rated just as high on other mock drafts and draft boards as well. I think he showed a lot of inconsistent play and I didn't like that he left the team early.

Most Underrated Prospect- Moses Moody (Arkansas) he's 6'6 with over a 7ft wingspan. Has a good outside shot and can play defense which is perfect for todays game. Another player is Ayo Dosunmu (Illinois), Dosunmu is a wing that can play 1-3 and can score. Great passer and can contribute immediately for any team that takes him.

Team Most Likely to Trade Up- Houston. With 2 picks in the 20's I think they try and trade those two to move up to get a guy who can help immediately.

Team Most Likely to Trade Down- Indiana. Having the 13th pick has a little leverage and I don't think there is a huge difference from 13-20 in a lot of the guys listed. They could move this pick and maybe get a draft and stash or piece it together with a player on their current roster to make them better immediately.

Team Most Likely to Trade Out-  Tie. Lakers and Nets. The Lakers at 22 don't really have a guy there that could fill the needs they have with the potential of Schroeder leaving. Brooklyn was the prohibited favorite to win it all before the injury bug hit them and still were an inch away from moving on to the ECF.
