So my buddy John Iacono had a great idea today of taking turns and mock drafting the 1st round of tonight's NBA Draft. We started with three people then one of us (Tony) had to quit because he was busy. Our plan was to draft players to the team you cheer for, but with Tony leaving I drafted the Lakers pick. Donte DiVencezo would be a steal at that spot. I think he'll be nice next season. I'd pick him with the Clippers 12 or 13 spot. I like Sexton right now over Trae Young. Young will have to prove himself all over but he can shoot. I'm afraid of potential which Jaren Jackson is full of. He's only 18 so it would be a while but I'm not sold. Bamba will go by 5th. Hard to go wrong at the top. I like Ayton, Bagley, Donic, and Bamba. Idk if an old school NBA will happen but those bigs can play. Heard Knox is the guy if the Knicks stay at 9. Lonnie Walker has potential that I am buying. Kid should be a stud. Still love SG-A, not sure on how he develops but he's a player. I'm not the biggest fan of Brunson but he'll go in the first round. He can run a team and will be solid. He's a better version of Derek Fisher. Hutchinson seems like a San Antonio pick, like oh wow who is this guy? Why didn't he go top 5? I've never seen him play, just a feeling. Good 3 man mock!
